Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Jetty (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Jetty platform and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details. Authentication is handled through our third-party identity provider (Clerk), and we do not store passwords directly.

1.2 Usage Data and Session Recordings

We automatically collect information about how you interact with our website and the Services, including pages visited, features used, clicks, timestamps, and general usage patterns. We use PostHog for product analytics and Google Analytics for website analytics.

PostHog also records sessions, meaning the pages you see and the actions you take on them. These recordings let us find and fix usability problems. Text typed into form fields is masked by default, and authentication fields are always masked. A few fields that do not ask for personal information are recorded unmasked, such as the box where you describe a task for an agent. Do not enter personal information there.

Before you sign in, analytics are tied to a random identifier stored in your browser. After you sign in, we link that activity to your account, your name, your email address, and your organization. This lets us understand how teams use the product.

1.3 Content You Provide

We collect and process the data, files, and content you submit to the Platform in the course of using the Services, including runbooks, task configurations, and agent outputs.

1.4 Technical Information

We collect standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URLs. If you report an issue from within the product, we include your browser’s user agent with the report.

1.5 Marketing Attribution

On your first visit, we record how you found us: the referring site, the page you landed on, any campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source), any ad-click identifiers added by Google, Microsoft, or Meta (such as gclid), and any referral code from a link shared by an existing Jetty user. This is stored in your browser and in a first-party cookie for up to one year. If you create an account, we attach it to that account. We use it to measure which channels bring people to Jetty and to credit referrals.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
  • Process transactions and send related communications.
  • Monitor usage patterns, diagnose problems, and optimize platform performance.
  • Send onboarding, product, and account emails, and measure which channels bring visitors to Jetty.
  • Respond to your requests, questions, and support inquiries.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with third parties only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform. These include Clerk for authentication, with Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection at sign-up; Google Cloud for application hosting, databases, and file storage; sandbox providers that run agent tasks; PostHog for product analytics, session recordings, and monitoring of AI model calls; Google Analytics for website analytics; Stripe for payment processing; Loops and Resend for email; Frigade for in-product onboarding guides; and Linear for tracking issues you report. These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their services.
  • AI model providers: Content you submit for AI processing may be sent to third-party model providers. These providers process your data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We also send traces of agent runs, including the prompts, model responses, model names, token usage, and costs, to PostHog so we can monitor reliability, cost, and quality. These traces are linked to your account.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. Content and agent outputs are retained according to your Subscription tier’s data retention limits. Upon account termination, we will delete your data within thirty (30) days unless retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar browser storage (such as local storage) for the following purposes:

  • Essential: Clerk sets cookies that keep you signed in and secure your session. The Services do not work without them.
  • Analytics: PostHog and Google Analytics set cookies and local storage to recognize returning visitors, measure usage, and record sessions as described in Section 1.2.
  • Attribution: We store a first-party cookie for up to one year that records how you first arrived at Jetty, as described in Section 1.5.

We do not use advertising or retargeting pixels, and we do not sell or share cookie data for cross-site advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
